Corporate social responsibility
We are steadfast in our mission of promoting sustainable global trade. Occasionally, we do, however, offer support to carefully selected organizations that do outstanding work in countries, communities and sectors relevant to our programs or interests. It is important to us that the contributions we make can be leveraged with other donors to result in significant benefit for the programs and its beneficiaries. Below are a few organizations that we have supported.

Our support: Hinrich Foundation has donated funds for the construction of the Shree Navajyoti Primary School in Bhumisthan, Dhading Bagmati, Nepal. We also offer Room to Read senior students trade-related internships in Cambodia and soon, Vietnam.
About: We envision a world in which all children can pursue a quality education, reach their full potential and contribute to their community and the world.
To achieve this goal, we focus on two areas where we believe we can have the greatest impact: literacy and gender equality in education. We work in collaboration with communities and local governments across Asia and Africa to develop literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children, and support girls to complete secondary school with the life skills they’ll need to succeed in school and beyond.
Our support: The Hinrich Foundation joined with another donor to provide funds to complete the building of the Muang Va Secondary School in Xaingabouli, Laos, giving more than 650 students a clean, safe all-weather classrooms. Show map
About: Child’s Dream was established in 2003 as a charity organisation dedicated to unconditional help for underprivileged children in the ‘Mekong Sub-Region’. This region is at the core of many humanitarian crises and children are suffering the most.
Our offices in Thailand and Cambodia serve as a base for humanitarian projects providing relief to children exposed to extreme poverty. Child’s Dream’s work is focused on educational infrastructure (nurseries, schools, vocational training centers and colleges), but also includes health care programmes such as the Children Medical Fund. We also provide stationery to over 55,000 children all over the region.
